Creating your first reflection

Write a private reflection and anchor verses to it in your Sanctuary.

A reflection is a private note in your Sanctuary — a place to write down what you're studying and anchor the verses that matter to it. Reflections stay private until you decide to publish or share them.

Write one

1
Tap Write in the sidebar (or the ✏️ icon in the mobile nav).
2
Give it a title and start writing in the body. Your work auto-saves as you go, so you won't lose anything.
3
Add tags to group related reflections (e.g. grace, romans).

Anchor a verse

Anchoring attaches a Bible verse to your reflection so it becomes part of the network and shows up in context later.

1
Use the verse search box inside the editor.
2
Type a reference in almost any format — rom 8:28, John 3:16, Ps 23. House-tops recognizes abbreviations automatically.
3
Tap the verse in the results to anchor it. You can optionally add a note or select the exact phrase you're referring to.
💡 The verse search works offline too — all 31,102 KJV verses are cached in your browser, so you can keep studying without a connection.

Find your reflections later

Everything you write lives in your Library (the 📖 Sanctuary). You can search, edit, or archive reflections there at any time.

When you're ready to share

From a reflection you can publish it to the Rooftop, open it for debate, or share it with a Study Circle. The choice is always yours.
